You place the tome on the dais. The runes once again glow with the same shadowy light, and the runes on the pages coalesce into a language you
can read.
Even though we simple shades cannot bind shadow to form like She Who Cast's the Shadows' children, we can bend it to our wills none the less. How well
we perform the rites and rituals within this tome, will speak to the clarity of shape the form takes. As apprentice, you are to follow your master's hand
and allow it to guide you through these rites. However, this tome will still seek to lay out the steps to bind shadow to form.
The above ritual is but a simplified version of the weavings that a master shadow weaver will use. Keep in mind that the object can only be so large as the shadow's
intersection on the eye. For larger forms you will need both a large sigil and more concentration. It is not unheard of for multiple weavers to work in unison
to form a single object, though in these cases the object will be simple in form and function. Finally, your skill in performing these steps without hesitation or error
will control the sharpness of the form's existence. Losing focus, hesitating, or ill-formed sigils and signs will make it more likely your woven form will collapse back
into the shadows.
