Well, I've done it. I've updated my journal page to read the most 10 recent entries and put them on the page. Next step will be to add pagination so you can flip backwards
through the entries. Maybe I'll even add a "jump to day" box somewhere that just dynamically sets the start day and then shows the previous entries. Other improvements to make
would be to dynamically add or remove the divs dynamically so I don't have just a pile of "No entries here" lists. Then it could show the ACTUAL 10 most recent entries. So essentially:
To Do:
- Add basic pagination to show previous (or next if you aren't on the first page) entries
- Add a way to select specific date to show/start on
- Dynamically add/remove divs so you can even set how many to show
- Dynamically skip dates with no entries
Outside of that, this is the night before a 5k I'm running. I'm not really happy or excited about it. Just nervous. Lots of poor exercise and diet this week so I feel so out of whack
that I'm worried. But I do know I can at least do it. It's just gonna suck. My gear is ready though, and I just have to think about the after party. That's what I'll do, just imagine
the sweet, sweet afterparty.
Thankfully, no annoyance or anger today, but a general sense of listlessness. Just sorta floating through the day. Oh well, wish me luck.
