Haven't done one of these in a while. Rough things happening, illness, injuries, stress! Yay! I've decided to start working on
trying to get some pixel art done to try and work a little more on stuff in Godot. Sprite sheets to do animations specifically. I did manage
to make the ugliest possible idle animation. Didn't make the background transparent so it's also a white brick around it. I think it's funny
and I'm definitely leaving it in my testbed stuff.
On the flip side, made a simple dinner tonight that tastes less simple. And with shop stuff, you can certainly elevate it but I'm putting the
way I did it here:
Ingredients:
- 1lb Spaghetti (or your favorite pasta)
- 4tbsp butter
- 1tbsp of minced garlic (or as much as you want)
- Parmesean cheese (to taste)
And that's it. Boil the pasta according to the box instructions, when the pasta is almost done melt the butter in a pan and fry the garlic
stirring frequently while the pasta finishes. When the pasta is done, use a measuring cup to take 1 cup of the pasta water, then strain out
the rest. Toss the pasta into the butter and garlic and stir vigorously, adding the reserved pasta water and parmesean until combined. Finally,
add black pepper to taste. Very tasty, a little heavy due to the butter and cheese but it's simple, quick, and tastes great for how straightforward it is.
